Inflation increases by 10.2 percent

According to data of National Statistics Committee (NSC), inflation in December, 2011 has raised by two percent in comparison of November, 2011, and by 10.2 percent of December, 2010.

Inflation increase has been depended on foods and water price increase by 3.8 percent, said statistics. Low income households have had difficulties along inflation raise.

Besides, some foods, other goods and service prices have been increased along gasoline price raise from MNT230 to MNT280 from January 6. NSC officials stated to journalists that inflation of January, 2012 would be accounted higher than of December, 2011 due to price increase foods and services.

Also monetary supply in bank sector has been increased by MNT6,427,2 billion in December, 2011 and the amount has been increased by MNT304 billion in comparison of November. Bad loan amount has been reduced by MNT13.2 billion from November month figure or 3.8 percent.
