Foreign Affairs Ministers of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar and his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi held official talks in Beijing on January 12.

The ministers discussed issues to deepen strategic partnership relations between Mongolia and China, develop cooperation in the sectors of politics, economics, education, culture, science, health, defense, security, mining and environment. They shared opinions on youth exchange program, projects and programs implementation on health services, diagnostics, and on collaboration development between media organizations.

G.Zandanshatar expressed his hope that China will soon pass an agreement of prisoner transfer that has been concluded last year. He as well said that Mongolia has interests to keep frequency of high level visits and talks that implements significance role in cooperation development.

The two sides underlined that working groups of the nations need to achieve more active progress to conclude contract on stable and long-term supply of petroleum products and construct an oil refinery in Mongolia, along a memorandum on cooperation extension in oil sector.

Yang Jiechi stated his readiness to develop above mentioned items in positive ways and implement programs and projects in assistance and aid from the Chinese government. He also noted that China will support Mongolia’s participation increase in international and regional multilateral collaboration.

Besides, the ministers exchanged views on regional and international items of bilateral interest.
