A museum of government opened in the Government House on Wednesday.

The museum has 2,000 items, some of which are listed as state historical and cultural treasures. It has flags, state symbols, seals, nine artifacts from the Empire State of Khublai Khan, seven items from the Bogd Empire State, and other traditional and historical artifacts.

Chief of Cabinet Secretariat Ch.Khurelbaatar, Education, Culture and Science Minister Yo.Otgonbayar, and several MPs took part in the museum’s opening ceremony. Ch.Khurelbaatar said Government House rules will be changed to allow the public access to the museum. He said items in the museum were collected for the 800th anniversary of the Great Mongol State, and the Cabinet Secretariat and Mongolian museums collected the items.
