A Mongolian parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Speaker N.Enkhbold are taking part in the 20th annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), which is being held in Tokyo from January 8 to 12.

This year”s meeting will focus on Asia-Pacific issues, including collaboration, politics, economics, and security. Also to be discussed are disaster preparedness and energy security. Participants will share their views on the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last March.

Since the meeting is coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the APPF, participants will also update the forum’s goals and guidelines.

Besides N.Enkhbold, the Mongolian delegation includes several MPs, including the head of the Standing Committee on Justice.
