Metal objects in Marshal Choibalsan’s tomb have been declared
irreplaceable nationally historic artifacts. The tomb was removed from Government
House in 2006. The objects include a golden belt spur, buttons and such things.
The Professional Council on Evaluation of Historic and Cultural Artifacts of the
Ministry for Education, Culture and Science took the decision.
The council also announced that 255 gold, silver and copper coins from
the 75 kings dynasty of 13th-14th centuries were extremely
rare and valuable for world history and culture. The coins were bought from coin
collector B.Nyamaa and are now kept in
found important 15 artifacts such as stamps, stamp boxes and knives that once
belonged to 8th Bogd Javzandamba and his wife and are now kept in Mongolbank’s
Treasury; 25 pieces kept in the Paleontology Center such as remains of tarbosaur,
hallimimus and adasaur, dinosaur babies and nests with eggs; five findings of
Archeology Institution of Science Academy; clothing, arrow heads etc.
The Government has decided to include all the artifacts evaluated by the
council to be enlisted as irreplaceable historic and cultural artifacts. There
are total of 593 artifacts listed as irreplaceable historic and cultural
artifacts so far.
