
Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister B.Bolor and Deputy Economics, Industry and Trade Minister of Japan T.Matsushita led the meeting. More than 120 delegates from the two nations attended the meeting and discussed the development of economic relations between the two countries.
Mongolian delegates read papers on the current investment situation, food, agriculture, light industry, railways, and infrastructure.
Japanese delegates read papers on increasing investment in Mongolia, a JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) project to monitor the quality of cashmere products, development aid from Japan, cooperation on health and satellite communications, and the possibility of implementing said issues.
Delegates have decided to hold their next meeting in Ulaanbaatar in 2012.
