Chief of the Standing Committee on Social Policy, Education, Culture and Science D.Ochirbat has given gers to 28 citizens of the Chingeltei district.

D.Ochirbat was elected from the Chingeltei district, and about 700 district citizens have requested gers since 2008. About 280 households have taken gers since 2009.

D.Ochirbat acknowledged that ger districts produce smoke that adds to air pollution, and some people have criticized the gifts. But he said some citizens needed their own homes because they were living with others. Therefore he gave the gers before the New Year celebration.
