
Ulaanbaatar’s 2011 budget income of was MNT 138.7, and budget expenditures were MNT 81.6 billion.
Officials say kindergarten and schools are not sufficient due to migration from local settlements. Six kindergartens of 75 children and three kindergartens of 100 children have been built in the capital with investment MNT 4 billion.
E.Gankhuu added that the capital has allocated MNT 20 billion to air pollution reduction programs, such as ger district development. More than 300 households of Sukhbaatar district have been moved to free land where apartments will be built. The city has allocated capital for relocation of the households.
The capital is projected to collect MNT 279.9 billion in 2012, MNT 70 billion of which will go to the state budget.
