The first portable drinking-water system, known as SMDT-20, was delivered to Mongolia on November 18.
SMDT-20 is equipped with a power generator and water treatment system inside a container, so it can supply clean water at any time and any place using on-site water sources. SMDT-20 is especially suited to use in disaster areas, islands, areas with no electricity, and construction sites.
SMDT-20 can supply drinking water to 10,000 people per day (based on two liters per person per day).
