The State Specialized Inspecting Agency (SSIA) recently inspected the Employment Support Foundation (ESF) and MNT 152.1 million was found to have been embezzled. The SSIA inspected the ESF’s records for 2010 and the first half of 2011.

SSIA Chief R.Sodkhuu is demanding that the responsible ESF officials be held accountable.

The Government declared 2011 the year of employment support, and the ESF was established to provide loans to citizens to generate employment and improve their lives. But some citizens complained that the ESF’s interest rates were too high and the terms of the loans were poor.
