The 2011 Junior World Judo Championships were held in Cape Town in South Africa between November 3 and 6.

512 athletes from 65 countries competed in the tournament, including  Mongolian judo wrestlers (12 men and 5 women).

Ts.Naranjargal won a silver medal in the women’s 70 kg division. She defeated German Liza Schneider, but was defeated by Austrian Bernaditt Graft for in the gold medal match.

L.Otgonbaatar finished seventh in the men’s -81 kg division.

Overall the Mongolian team finished in eleventh place.
