
They said salaries are already scheduled to increase by MNT 80,000 beginning March 1, 2012, and by another 23 percent beginning May 1, 2012.
But the trade unions want those increases pushed up, with the MNT 80,000 raise taking effect on January 1 and the 23 percent increase occurring before Tsagaan Sar.
The trade unions delivered a note to the Government and urged a reply by November 9.
