Writer and journalist B.Turmunkh has produced a documentary about the life of VIII Bogd Janzandamba and his son Erenjav in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of Mongolia’s independence.

The first showing of the documentary was held in Central Khaan Bank last Friday.

Erenjav’s daughter, E.Shurentsetseg, inspired B.Turmunkh to make the documentary, which aims to show the personalities and lives of her father and grandfather.

Bogd Javzandamba gave his son Erenjav up for adoption before his death because the emperor had no choice.
