Continuing his official visit to Croatia, President Ts.Elbegdorj met with the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Luka Bebic, on Thursday.

Luka Bebic stated that the mutual visits of the presidents of Croatia and Mongolia have upgraded bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations, and that the Croatian and Mongolian parliaments are also furthering bilateral relations. He added that the opening of a Croatian embassy in Ulaanbaatar will support the two nations’ collaboration.

Ts.Elbegdorj thanked Bebic for receiving him and said talks with his counterpart, Croatian President I.Josipovic, confirmed the two sides’ mutual cooperation and interests. He said a memorandum of cooperation would be crucial to furthering relations between the two nations’ parliaments. He also said Mongolia and Croatia have the possibility to cooperate in the agriculture, animal health, food production, education, and tourism sectors.
