
The Montreaux document is an international agreement regarding private military forces and security companies in war zones.
Taking part in the seminar were delegates from defense, foreign relations, and legislative organizations from 11 countries, including North Korea, South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Japan, as well as representatives of the UN and International Red Cross.
Participants exchanged opinions on the activity of the UN intergovernmental working group on private military and security companies, and the activity of the UN working group on mercenaries
Mongolia has not signed the Montreux document yet, the government is studying the issue.
