Mongolian Prime Minister S.Batbold and German Chancellor Angela Merkel signed a document on bilateral relations and cooperation during a ceremony in the great hall of the Government House on Thursday afternoon.

Mongolian Mineral Resources and Energy Minister D.Zorigt, German Ambassador to Mongolia Peter Schaller, and Germany’s State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Jochen Homann, have signed an agreement to hold intergovernmental talks on the mineral resources, industrial, and technological sectors.

The executive director of Mongolia’s Erdenes Tavantolgoi LLC, B.Enebish, and the president of Germany’s BBM Operta Group, Wolfgang Peters, have signed a agreement of cooperation between their two companies. B.Enebish has also signed an agreement of cooperation with the executive director of energy production for Siemens Ltd, Markus Take.

The manager general of the city of Ulaanbaatar, Ch.Bat, and the president of GAUFF Engineering, Uve Gauff, have signed an agreement to cooperate on water issues in Ulaanbaatar, including technical assistance with water usage in new residential areas. The agreement is between the Ulaanbaatar Investment Office and GAUFF.

Mongolian Science Academy President B.Enkhtuvshin and the head of the managing council of the Gerda Henkel Foundation, Mickel Hansler, have signed an agreement of cooperation between the academy and the foundation.
