
G.Batkhuu said members of a Mongolian-German parliamentary group are planning to visit Germany and the visit shows how the two countries are increasing collaboration. He said Parliament supports widening trade and economic relations and increasing investment, and that Mongolia is interested in cooperation in the agriculture, mining, and education sectors.
Bundestag member Urgen Koppelin expressed his satisfaction with the discussion of the two nations’ cooperation. He stated that the two sides have opportunities to cooperate in the agriculture and mining sectors to produce final products. He added that there is a necessity to intensify cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments.
Bundestag member Dagmar Enkelman said that Ulaanbaatar has changed much since she visited Mongolia in 1991. Many important issues will be raised during when parliamentary delegates visit Germany in December, she added. Enkelman said she is planning to share her experience on mining recovery.
G.Batkhuu underlined that Mongolia has many things to learn from Germany in the mining sector, which Mongolians are just beginning to develop fully.
