A report from a herder in Buren soum, Tuv province on Friday that he had seen something fall from the sky led to a team of experts visiting the place to ascertain if it was a meteorite. D.Namsrai, deputy head of the Emergency Authority, has said the team has not yet submitted its report but preliminary investigations rule out a meteorite.

The area is now secured by the local police and Emergency personnel.
