Asian boxing champion U.Munkh-Erdene defeated an Iranian boxer on points Tuesday at the 2011 AIBA World Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. The 24-9 victory earns Munkh-Erdene a spot in the 2012 London Olympics.

On Thursday, Munkh-Erdene will fight an Italian boxer for a bronze medal.
