The Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy canceled its scheduled meeting on Thursday because most members of the committee didn’t show up.

The members were supposed to discuss the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity; the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol; and other five issues.

The committee has 19 members, six of whom waited an hour for the other members to show up.
