The International Judo Federation’s 2011 World Cup was held over the weekend in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with 250 athletes taking part. The Mongolian team of six men and one woman competed.

D.Amartuvshin won a gold medal in the men’s 60-kg division, and D.Sumiya won a bronze in the women’s 57-kg division.

The Mongolian team finished sixth out of 30 countries.
