The five-member Mongolian team finished the recent International Judo Federation Grand Prix tournament in Düsseldorf with three medals, two gold and one silver.
Kh. Tsagaanbaatar (66 kg) won his third World Cup title in two years when he defeated An Jeong-Hwan in the final in only three minutes. The other gold was claimed by S.Naym-Ochir (73 kg), the first medal in an IJF event for the 23-year-old. He defeated 30-year old experienced Russian Ulan Gurtuev.
Two times world silver medalist D.Tumurkhuleg (60 kg) won the bronze. S.Miyaragchaa (66kg) and G.Boldbaatar (60 kg) both finished fifth, unlucky to moss a medal.
