‘Dschinghis Khan’ , the famous German pop band will give a full concert in Mongolia next year. Dschinghis Khan, known in some countries as Genghis Khan. is inspired by Chinggis Khaan, Emperor of Great Mongolian Empire.

Earlier today, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received band member Wolfgang Heichel. Currently the group is in Mongolia to make a video clip for the 1979’s hit song ‘Dschinghis Khan’. The clip is being produced by Mongolia’s Hero Entertainment.

Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the famous song – originally Germany’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest – and to mark the anniversary celebration the band is making a video clip in Mongolia. In addition, the band is planning to advertise  construction works under the ‘Millennium person-Chinggis Khaan’ project in Khentii province.

Kh.Battulga, President of Mongolia has issued a decree to award ‘Dschinghis Khan’ with the Medal  of Friendship.

The band is planning to tour concert from Japan in January, 2019. ‘Dschinghis Khan’ is expected to give concert in Mongolia during Naadam Festival which is annually held on 10-13 July.
