To restore the ecosystem of the Tuul River, which flows to the Selenge River, a plan to introduce beavers to the Tuul has been adopted. Scholars, researchers, and specialists who work with beavers will discuss the program at Khangarid Palace at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Ulaanbaatar Mayor G.Munkhbayar will open the discussion. Scholars from the Biology and Biotechnology Institute of Mongolian University will present papers titled “The Role of Beavers in Ecosystems” and “The Possibility of Beaver Introduction in the Tuul River.”
