The One Democracy association and the DP of Khovd aimag held a forum on responsible citizenship in Ulaangom soum on September 18 and 19. Taking part in the discussion were DP MPs Lu.Gantumur and Kh.Temuujin; association coordinator and adviser for the President’s Security Policy M.Batchimeg; director of the Research Center for Economic Policy and Competitiveness Ch. Otgochuluu; head of the DP of Khovd aimag B.Purevdorj; as well and local residents and students.

Papers that were read included “Responsible Citizens – Responsible Government,” “How Citizens Can Receive Mining Proceeds,” and “Responsible Politics.”

The MPs talked with students on the topics “How to Choose Your Fate” and “Secrets of Success.”

Young people attending the forum proposed establishing a branch One Democracy in Khovd aimag.
