President Ts.Elbegdorj arrived in New York on Monday to take part in high-level meetings being held in connection with the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly. He will also chair a meeting titled, “A Mediator’s Duty to Solve International Disputes in a Peaceful Way.”

The President also will also attend high-level meetings on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases; on desertification, land degradation, and drought; and on nuclear safety.

Ts.Elbegdorj will also open a meeting of the Democratic Community and the UN Democratic Group on September 22 and 23. He will talk about the goals and activities of the DC and appeal to other countries to join the organization.
