The 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) will open on Tuesday, 10 September 2024. The first day of the high-level General Debate will be Tuesday, 24 September 2024, continue through Saturday, 28 September, and conclude on Monday, 30 September 2024. The theme for the general debate of the 79th session of the General Assembly is “Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations”.

Mongolian president U.Khurelsukh is going to attend the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on September 21-26, 2024 and give speech about Mongolia’s position on pressing issues of international relations, foreign policy goals and priorities implemented by the government. Furthermore, U.Khurelsukh is planning to hold a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the UN and heads of state and government of some member states to exchange views on relations and cooperation.

Heads of state and governments from around 140 countries will attend the the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. Mongolian president U.Khurelsukh is attending the UN General Assembly constantly since 2021.
