Mongolian junior athletes left their country today /20.08.2024/ to participate IFSC Climbing World Youth Championships. The competition will be held in Guiyang, China from 21st to 31st of this month. Athletes will participate in u16, u18, u20 age categories in speed, technique and bouldering. Master of Sports T.Och worked as a coach.

Seven years later, the IFSC Youth World Championships will make its return to China, as Guiyang is set to be the second city in the country to host the event – the first one being Guangzhou in 2016.

The IFSC Climbing World Youth Championships are the annual World Youth Championships for competition climbing organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing. The first competition was held in Basel, Switzerland in 1992. Bouldering was introduced at the 2015 championships.
