The regular election of the 2024 Parliament of Mongolia were successfully held on June 28, 2024 with a turnout of 69.85 percent. This election was unique in that 126 members were elected for the first time in accordance with the amendments made to the Constitution of Mongolia. The General Election Committee held a meeting on June 30 and decided to issue ID cards to the 78 candidates who received the most votes in each district, as well as 48 members based on the results of the party coalition.

Yesterday /July 1, 2024/, the General Election Committee issued a temporary ID card to the candidates who won the election.

Today /July 2, 2024/, very first session of new Parliament begins and 126 members are taking oath. The President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh opened the first session of the Parliament with a speech.
