Mike Sharavjamts commits to Utah

The University of Utah has agreed to terms with 21-year-old Mongolian guard Mike Sharavjamts for the new 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Finnish Miro Little signing earlier. A native of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, he moved to Utah from the University of San Francisco, where he spent his sophomore year. In 33 games last season, he averaged 7.7ppg, 3.0rpg, and 2.6apg. He helped his team reach the WCC Tournament Semifinals in 2024.

Sharavjamts played at University of Dayton between 2022-23. His team ended the regular season as the second-best place in Atlantic 10 in 2023. He helped his team reach the Atlantic 10 Tournament Finals that year. Sharavjamts was also voted to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team that season.

He spent his prep year at Prolific Prep Academy (Napa Valley, CA) between 2018-20. His team ended regular season as the second-best place in Pac-12 in 2022. Sharavjamts was named to Nike Hoop Summit (World Team) in 2022.

He was a member of the Mongolian University National Team last year. Among many awards, he was named to the Mongolian 3×3 U18 Team in 2019.
