“Lawyer pro bono day”, which aims to provide legal advice to citizens and support their legal education is being held in Sukhbaatar square today /2024.05.01/. This event is being held in capital and 21 provinces of Mongolia. This day is being organized across the country for the 5th year.

More than 20 organizations, such as Mongolian Lawyers Association linked organizations, Mayor’s office of Ulaanbaatar city, General Council of the Judiciary, General Prosecutor’s Office, Department of Court Decision Enforcement, National Human Rights Commission, General Archives Department and Chamber of Notaries are participating this event and giving advice to citizens.

Last year, more than 3,000 people were given free legal advice as part of the event. In 2021, more than 1,000 people, in 2022, more than 2,000 were given free legal advice.
