At the plenary session of the Parliament of Mongolia, the draft of the revision of the Law on Science and Technology and the bills submitted along with it are being discussed today /2024.04.25/.
Article 38.2 of the Constitution of Mongolia stipulates that “The government approves its integrated policy on science and technology, and then the main direction of the country’s economic and social development is approved.”
On the initiative of the President, the Integrated Science Complex is being built at a cost of 150 billion MNT. This is an investment not seen in the last 60 years. The work on this complex will be completed next spring.
For last 10 years, about 4,500 researches were conducted in the science and technology fund by spending 190 billion MNT. 20 million MNT was spent on each study.
