At the regular meeting of the government today /2024.04.24/, it was decided to include 25 billion MNT in the state budget to increase and improve the clothing, equipment of the emergency services. It is including fire fighting drone, robots, equipments and clothes for fire fighters that meets international standards. Also the training to increase capacity of emergency staffs has planned. To increase their capacity, it was discussed to increase the number of existing search and rescue and fire fighting units.

The Mongolian government has been taking measures to increase the number of employees, but currently there is a 60 percent shortage of human resources. In other words, there is a shortage of 60 percent of the total number of officers compared to the population.

Three out of 10 people have appropriate clothes for emerhency service. But not all employees are mobilized at the same time. During last two years, their salary has increased two times. Last time, it has increased by 25 percent. Although salary is increasing, social issues are still important. So, policy for housing will be implemented.
