After 10 years of construction of the new National Library, the State Commission accepted the building this year. The new building has 11 floors and a total of 16 reading rooms which is able to serve 530 people at the same time. Reading rooms of both building is closed temporarily due to the movement.

Moving process had finished completely and library will start service from May 1.

The work of moving the books began on April 3. It is planned to continue for eight days. The staff and supervisors of the National Library were responsible for the movement.
