D. Tsolmon won the first Asian medal in Mongolian para fencing

Qualifying tournament of para pencing for the Paris Olympics is being held in Thailand. Four men and three women has competed in this tournament under the leadership of coaches M.Monkhtulga and B.Gerelmaa from Mongolia. In women’s category, D.Tsolmon has won the athlete from Hong Kong with a score of 13:10 and qualified for the bronze medal of the Asian Championship.

This is the first Asian medal in history of Mongolian para fencing.

Soon, she will compete with legendary athlete Jiana from Thailand, who is gold medalist of the Paralympics, the World Cup, and the Asian World Cup. D.Tsolmon was the first Mongolian athlete to win the Asian Summer Paralympic Games held in Hangzhou, China last year. She has been practicing fencing for the fifth year.
