At the regular session of the Cabinet on April 19, National Wealth Fund Law was approved. The bill was approved by 39 of the members who participated in the voting.

The proposed legislation aimed at establishing a National Wealth Fund to ensure the equitable and sustainable distribution of income generated from Mongolia’s subsoil resources to all citizens, both present and future.

In November of last year, the Democratic Party members in the Parliament initiated a bill on the National Wealth Fund and submitted it to the Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar.
