The first 3×3 basketball qualifying tournament for the Paris Olympics finished in Hong Kong. A totally 16 teams from 8 country including Mongolia has competed with each other. One male and one female team will qualify for the Olympics. Even if they don’t qualify for the Olympics, they still have two more competitions in Japan and Hungary.

The Netherlands men’s team has topped in tournament while Hungary took the lead among the women’s team.

Mongolian men’s team has ranked in second while women’s team has ranked 6th place.

Now Mongolian men’s team are waiting for the tournament that will be held in Japan on May 3-5. Mongolian women’s team won’t compete this tournament. Mongolian men’s national team is in the same group as France, Japan and Egypt in Group B.
