If military servicemen dies during the following situations pension shall be granted according to Article 14, Clause 1.1 of this law, regardless of the number of children or disabled persons. This includes following situations, such as on the battlefield, peacekeeping operations, special operations, shooting, blasting, dealing with toxic substances, or while performing their duties as required by law, state of emergency, criminal attack, working under emergency conditions, state special objects, border protection.

According to the provisions of the law, the salary of the military serviceman is paid to the youngest child until the age of 18.

Furthermore, there is a provision that the government will provide an apartment with an area of at least 80 square meters to the family of a deceased military serviceman. The cost of apartment is equivalent to 500 times the minimum wage. In other words, it will be an apartment worth 300 million MNT at today’s exchange rate.
