Temporary committee for inspecting the causes and conditions of drug price increases has established by resolution No. 60 of June 30, 2023 of Mongolian parliament. J.Chinburen, parliament member is working as a chief of the committee while D.Batlut, B.Beisen, B.Jargalmaa, M.Oyunchimeg, Ts.Sandag-Ochir, Ts.Tuvaan are working as a members.

Temporary committee for inspecting employs a total of 5 reviewers and 6 experts. They collected and analyzed evidence from relevant government agencies and officials within the scope of the special investigation.

They informed that an open hearing is scheduled to be held on April 15-17 on the topic of “Availability, Price, and Quality of Drugs”. More than 150 officials will be called as witnesses in this hearing.

Officials who have served as health ministers for generations will be involved in the procurement of medicines and other related matters. But they are preparing for this year’s parliamentary election.
