The field fire that broke out on April 6 in Erdenetsagaan soum of Sukhbaatar province was completely extinguished at 00:40 a.m. on April 7. 20 thousand hectares of fields were affected by the fire. On the same day, a field fire broke out in Asgat soum of Sukhbaatar province at 17:25 and was completely extinguished at 07:00 on April 7. The National Emergency Management Agency reported that 14,000 hectares of fields were affected by the fire.

Due to the spring dryness, field fire has increased.

The field fires that broke out in Bayan-Ovoo soum of Khentii province and Matad soum of Dornod province was completely extinguished too. Due to these fires, 11,300 hectares of fields were affected.

Since January 1, 14 fires were extinguished in 7 provinces, such as Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Khuvsgul, Bulgan, Khovd, Selenge.
