Developed countries pay particular attention to prescription. These countries have been seeking optimal mechanism for prescription validation, monitoring and fulfillment and had chosen e-form finally. Mongolia has also made it a reality.

Wrong drug use is related to serious consequences, like our health and life. This is the common disadvantage of paper prescription.

According to the information from US Food and Drug Administration, since 2000 more than 95,000 prescription errors have been made in the country, most of which were caused by misinterpretation of handwritten prescriptions. About 200 thousand people per year are hospitalized due to complications from misuse of drugs in US.

In other words, common mistakes are occuring due to doctor’s illegible handwriting and incomplete experience of pharmacist. This risk is eliminated by transferring prescriptions e-form.
