L.Oyun-Erdene, Mongolian Prime Minister, received the Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to Mongolia, Katie Smith on March 5, 2024. During the meeting, Katie Smith, the Ambassador, handed official letter, stating that the Australian Government’s decision to provide 250,000 australian dollars in humanitarian aid to Mongolia, to L.Oyun-Erdene. Australia, as Mongolia’s third neighbor and close partner, provided the aid in connection with the harsh winter and spring in Mongolia.

L.Oyun-Erdene, Mongolian Prime Minister, expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the Mongolian government, government and people to the Government and people of Australia. He also emphasized that the Government of Mongolia is taking necessary measures to overcome the disaster in a short time.

The donation will be transferred to the Mongolian Red Cross through the Australian Red Cross.
