325 Million MNT to be spent for resident doctors

Today, The State Special Commission made its regular report on the situation in provinces where winter has become severe.

T.Bayarkhuu, Secretary of the Special State Commission, Colonel:

-We have collected informations of families with a few members and needing manpower support from 46 soums of 11 provinces and assigned the required employees there. 214 members of the armed forces with 21 technical equipments has started to work at Sukhbaatar, Dornod, Tuv provinces. Local disaster management offices of 12 provinces have provided firewoods to 2695 families, health care to 3614 families, food aid to 424 families.

Delivery of 10,000 tons of fodder rice stored in the Agricultural Corporation is being organized. As for today, 10 provinces have signed contract and four of them have started withdrawals.

As part of the campaign to help herdsmen, a total of 1.9 billion MNT in cash and 773 million MNT in inventory were collected from 33 citizens and 55 enterprises nationwide. Inventory donated to the State special commission is being delivered to provinces along with food aid.

A.Unurjargal, Director of Medical Care Services, Ministry of Health:

-On February 26, 2024, S.Chinzorig, Health Minister has issued an order to transfer 318 resident doctors to local hospitals. Resident doctors are going to work at provinces that faced harsh winter and spring from March 1 to April 15. A total of 325 million MNT will be spent on this work.
