Asian young parliamentarians gathered in Mongolia

International Conference of Asian Political Parties was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in recent days. More than 800 young people from 18 parties from 12 countries gathered under the slogan “We say yes to youth in parliament”.

During the conference, they chose Vice Presidents to work with Uchral Nyam-Osor, president of ICAPP, a youth organization that unites 352 young people from 52 Asian countries. Members of parliament and government of some countries, such as Turkey, Cambodia, Democratic Nepal and Pakistan were elected as Vice Presidents. Another important thing that happened during the meeting was the approval of the “Ulaanbaatar Declaration”.

“Ulaanbaatar Declaration” aims to support Asian youths to work together for the development of their country without looking at each other for any party and to support each other to increase the position of young people in politics. Youths from Mongolian Democratic Party, National Labor Party and other 18 parties from foreign countries, who participated the meeting, has supported the “Ulaanbaatar Declaration” fully.
