Due to the zhud disaster, Mongolian universities has decided to give a period of leave to their students from some provinces. The initiative starts from Mongolian University of science and technology, after that other state universities has formalized their decisions. We clarified about that decision from universities.

Mongolian University of science and technology: Mongolian University of science and technology, which starts the initiative, has more than 1700 students from provinces. Among them, approximately 850 students have been given a period of leave up to one month. The students who take period of leave have to involved online lesson and give their exams.

National University of Mongolia: The students who came from provinces that faced the zhud disaster have to submit a written request. Once the request is officially approved, the student will be released from the lesson. In case of necessity students can apply online.

Mongolian State University of Education: The students who came from provinces that faced the zhud disaster also have to submit a written request and give it to the Education department of the affiliated school. Missed lessons can be studied next term. University officials informed that few students have applied for leave. More than 80 percent of all students at Mongolian State University of Education are local students.

University of medical sciences: University officials informed that arrangements for students are being made as flexible as possible. So far, the number of students who have applied has not been tallied. The students who applied can study online.
