The “Blue Pearl” ice festival, which aims to develop winter tourism, to increase the flow of tourists, and to promote Mongolia, will be held in Khatgal village of Khuvsgul province on March 2-3.

Art performances will be held during the festival. It includes so many interesting performances, such as “Qirwa Anka” band from Ecuador, “Blue bear” laser show, multi-ethnic food show, sailing boat exhibition, skating competition, shamanic ritual.

“Eagle festival” also will be held in Chingisiin khuree complex on March 9-10. It is an annual festival to promote and pass traditions, heritages, and unique cultures of the Kazakh nation in anticipation of the spring season and Nauryz holiday. Organizations, such as Ministry of Environment and Tourism, The Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department, Chingis Khan khuree complex, Mongolian eagle hunters association and Culture department of Bayan-Ulgii province are organizing “Eagle festival”.
