The Mongolian national basketball team will play with Chinese national team for the right to compete in Asian Championship 2025 today. The match to be held at 19:30 in Xi’an city of China.

Mongolia considers it very specially because of Mongolian basketball history, it had never qualified for this stage before.

Bilguun.B, captain of the Mongolian national team, gave an interview about the Asian championship and the upcoming matches. He said, “Of course, this tournament is very important for the Mongolian national team. We participated in the East Asian Championship in 2013 and missed the opportunity to participate in the Asian Championship. I’m happy to be at this level again. For me, this competition is the highest moment of my career. We have never beaten China before, but we will show them that Mongolian basketball has grown up and developed like other teams. Our coaching team has also prepared a plan against them.”
