Today (13 October), Mongolian Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene has confirmed the appointment of Kh.Nyambaatar as the new Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, the country’s capital.

Prior to his appointment, Kh.Nyambaatar served as minister of justice and internal affairs of Mongolia.

Kh.Nyambaatar replaced D.Sumiyabazar who has recently presented his resignation due to a scandal involving the reform of the public transport fleet in Ulaanbaatar that has embezzled public funds.
