Mongolia earns the first Olympic quota at the Asian Games

Mongolia’s O.Yesugen becomes one of the first boxers in the Asian Games who earned quotas for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Hangzhou.

Kazakhstan’s two-time World Champion Nazym Kyzaibay delivered her sensational technical skills in the first round against Mongolia’s O.Yesugen and she took the lead on the judges’ scorecards in this important quarter-final. As many times, the Mongolians are brave fighters, they are able to turn back contests against stars as well, and it happened once again in Hangzhou. The 22-year-old O.Yesugen not only won this quarter-final and earned a medal in the Asian Games but she is the first quota holder from the continent.
