A delegation of 45 esteemed representatives from Mongolia visited to the United Kingdom. The group will travel over 4,000 miles to form closer ties between the two nations.
Scheduled on 18-24 June, the visit of the Mongolian delegates signifies a significant milestone in strengthening international cooperation and collaboration in the railway industry. The group are travelling to the UK on a trip arranged and funded by the British Embassy, during their trip the delegation will visit Rail Live exhibition and spend time explore the UK’s expertise in railway technology.
Representatives will be attending from a range of companies, including:
Mongolian Railway State Owned Shareholding Company and Mongolian-Russian joint venture company Ulaanbaatar Railway, Dornod Gankhiits, Governor’s Office of the Capital city of Ulaanbaatar, Maximal LLC, Mongolian Trans Line LLC, Mongolian Technology Investment LLC, Mungun Zurlug Co. Ltd, Urban Development Consulting Group, Setssurvey LLC and Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia.
The delegates, including government officials, railway executives and industry leaders, will engage in a site visit, laboratory and factory tour and a series of presentations during their stay. The group will have the opportunity to explore Pandrol’s facilities and take an up-close look at the company’s welding processes and equipment.
During their visit, the Mongolian delegation will have the opportunity to observe witness the exceptional expertise and cutting-edge technology that Pandrol employ in providing innovative rail solutions worldwide.
The visit follows Pandrol’s recent work on the Tavantolgoi–Gashuunsukhait railway, with Bodi Group, which saw the introduction of a new railway in Mongolia designed to increase the country’s export capacity by 30 million tons of coking and thermal coal annually.
